The ICTD is seeking to recruit a Communications Assistant to support the Centre in delivering high quality, targeted research communication outputs and activities that promote its internationally acclaimed research, capacity building and knowledge work.

Reporting to the ICTD Research Uptake and Communications Manager, the post holder will use their excellent communications, marketing and organisational skills to provide the full and varied support needed to deliver against the Centre’s goals and objectives. With a passion for promoting development research to a wide audience, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be directly involved in a range of communications work. The Communications Assistant will play a full and active role as a member of the ICTD team, as well as working with colleagues across the Institute of Development Studies, where the post will be based. Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working in communications is required, while multimedia and language skills (particularly French) are desired.

Salary: £21,102 to £24,286 per annum (Initial appointment will be in the above range depending on experience)
