The International African Institute and Zed Books are hosting a launch for Taxing Africa: Coercion, Reform and Development at this year’s African Studies Association Conference at the University of Birmingham.

The launch will be held on Wednesday September 12th from 3:30 to 5:00pm in the Aston Webb Theatre.

Speakers will include book author and ICTD CEO Professor Mick Moore (Institute of Development Studies), Professor Nic Cheeseman (University of Birmingham), and Professor Serges Kamga (Thabo Mbeki African Leadership Institute). The panel will be moderated by Stephanie Kitchen of the International African Institute.
