The ICTD in partnership with the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) and the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), will offer a Tax and Development Short Courses early next year in Ethiopia.

Africa course: 15th – 18th February 2016 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

*There are only 25 places, so apply now!!

This course will build on last year’s inaugural edition of the Tax and Development Short Course, which was held in the UK, and is aimed at a broad, non-technical audience of practitioners and policymakers interested in or working on tax revenue mobilisation.

The course attracted applications from many participants drawn from diverse professional backgrounds, and we are looking forward to an even more interesting engagement in the next short course. Here is what some of the participants at the last short course had to say:

Merlin Chatwin, from Amplify Governance, an NGO based in Ghana, shared that for him, “the most useful thing was the ability to interact with individuals actively engaged in tax reform after hearing relevant research-based content,” while Nompumelelo Dlamini, the Commissioner of Domestic Taxes of the Swaziland Revenue Authority said, “we will certainly support the next course, as I found it very valuable for the different stakeholders we have in my country.”
